Hi, I am Dawn Dreisbach, a Licensed Veterinary Technician (both in Washington and Alaska). I was born and raised in Juneau, AK (26 years). My formal training in veterinary technology is from Michigan State University, in East Lansing, MI, and I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Technology from the College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2002. I am married to Earl, and have an English Springer Spaniel Mix named Porter, he was a rescue with the English Springer Rescue America.

I have been at the Animal Eye Clinic since March 2006, and I am so happy with my move to veterinary ophthalmology. Prior to working at the Animal Eye Clinic, I was at a small but very busy general practice in Juneau, AK, where I had a wonderful mentor. I also enjoy taking continuing education courses in all aspects of veterinary medicine and I am a member of the Veterinary Ophthalmic Technicians Society.

In my free time, I enjoy being with family and friends, as well as, taking photographs, sewing, traveling, and spending time in our vegetable and flower gardens. In the fall, my husband and I spend our weekends following our favorite college football teams (Michigan State Spartans, and the University of Montana Grizzlies), and we have season tickets for the University of Montana Football games in Missoula.
